49 choirs from 24 nations gathered in Calella this afternoon and have marched in traditional costumes and wonderful music through the inner city. It was a feast for the eyes and for the ears. Finnish children singing African songs, Austrian folklore and men's voices from Suriname - everything was there and it was great. We have not experienced the parade so full for a long time.

After an Official Welcome in the Pati de l'Ós Park, about 1700 singers sang together the "Peace of God" - a wonderful moment. Also the stage choirs - the LU FMF Jauktais Koris Aura (Latvia), the Shenzhen Musician Association Chorus (China) and the Gibraltar Youth Choir (Gibraltar) brought the crowd to quake.
