Participation Opportunities

SING FOR GOLD invites all non-professional choirs of the world to participate in 7 different competition categories. The choirs will be evaluated by an international jury according to the MUSICA MUNDI evaluation system (30 points system) and receive gold, silver or bronze diplomas.

The best choirs are invited to compete in a final round of competition for the WORLD CHORAL CUP.

Choirs who choose not to be placed in competition, but seek to be part of the international experience can participate in the non-competitive evaluation activities.

The Competition
The World Choral Cup
Evaluation Performances and Individual Coachings
Friendship Concerts
The Imants Kokars Choral Award

I spent fantastic days in Calella and felt very welcome in the big INTERKULTUR family. Congratulations on the great job you’ve done! I’m very satisfied with my first INTERKULTUR experience and I hope it won’t be the last.

Daniel Mestre, jury member, Spain (SING FOR GOLD 2022)

We had high expectations and they all came through! We enjoyed our participation, the contacts with the other choirs and the relaxed atmosphere. To go home with silver diploma was very satisfying and stimulates us to improve and enjoy singing.

Carla van der Heiden, Vocalgroup Just Us, Netherlands (SING FOR GOLD 2022)
