Canta al mar 2025: The results
Barnsley Youth Choir from Great Britain achieves the highest score in the competition
After several inspiring days filled with harmony, sunshine, and the joy of shared singing, the 2025 edition of Canta al mar – Festival Coral Internacional has come to a wonderful close. Calella and Barcelona once again turned into lively centers of choral music, welcoming choirs from around the world to sing, connect, and celebrate together.
We warmly congratulate all participating choirs on their outstanding achievements, heartfelt performances, and the unique spirit of international friendship they brought to this event by the Mediterranean Sea.
Among all competing choirs, Barnsley Youth Choir from Great Britain, conducted by Mat Wright, achieved the highest score in the competition in the Pop & Jazz category. Congratulations on this exceptional accomplishment!
