Winners Announced at the Kalamata International Choir Competition
Akademisk Kor Århus from Denmark wins the Kalamata Choir Prize 2024
The Kalamata International Choir Competition & Festival 2024 has come to a successful close! From October 10-14, choirs from across the globe gathered in Kalamata to share their love for choral music and compete for Golden, Silver, and Bronze Diplomas across various categories.
After days of inspiring performances, our international jury selected the top choirs to participate in the prestigious Grand Prize Competition. They performed once again in the final Grand Prize Competition and after some impressive performances, the jury selected the winner of the Kalamata Choir Prize 2024:
The Akademisk Kor Århus, conducted by Jonas Rasmussen won the Grand Prize of 1,500 € and the admiration of the international jury and audience alike!
