Sing Along Concert Málaga 2026: Mozart’s Requiem awaits

Sing along with Simon Halsey and the renowned WDR Rundfunkchor

Sing Along Concert

After the great success of this year’s Sing Along Concert in Barcelona, INTERKULTUR now turns its focus to the next edition: from June 18–20, 2026, singers from around the world are invited to Málaga for a very special choral event. Under the direction of Simon Halsey, one of Europe’s most respected choral conductors, participants will perform Mozart’s Requiem in D minor (KV 626) in the historic Teatro Cervantes, accompanied by the WDR Rundfunkchor and the Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga.

During focused rehearsals, individual singers and choirs will prepare this iconic masterwork together with Halsey and the professional ensembles, culminating in a festive performance on one of Spain’s most prestigious stages. For choirs already familiar with Mozart’s Requiem, the project offers a unique opportunity to refine their interpretation under expert guidance, while at the same time sharing the experience with an international community of singers.

With its Mediterranean charm and vibrant cultural scene, Málaga provides the perfect setting for this international gathering. The Teatro Cervantes, the city’s oldest and most prestigious theater, will offer an impressive backdrop for an event that combines historic architecture, outstanding ensembles, and the emotional depth of Mozart’s music.

Save the date: June 18–20, 2026. The Sing Along Concert Málaga promises to be a highlight of the international choral calendar and an unforgettable musical experience for all participants.
