Istria – region of variety

New choir festival in Croatia is an ocean of possibilities

Rugged shores, beautiful beaches, countless opportunities to experience culture and sports. Istria is a region of variety, a touristic paradise. The new choral festival ISTRAMUSICA meets the variety of its host region – from September 9 to October 8, 2017 the city of Porec will turn into a paradise for choir singers, too: Workshops, relaxed Friendship Concerts, Individual Coachings with international choral experts, festive Gala Concerts and an International Choir Competition combined with the beauty of the Adria region. When and how participants organize their trip is left to the group’s own devices. Everything is possible.

The time of the festival has been well chosen. The high season is over, the region not overcrowded anymore and the climate still comfortable. The visitors can still enjoy the evening atmosphere in Porec’s old town, stroll along the beach promenade and listen to international choral music at the open air stage at the harbor or the main square of Porec.

On top of that in September truffles season is starting in Istria. People can now enjoy the rare white truffles around every corner and be inspired by all the Istrian dishes, because the Istrian cuisine is also characterized by variety: freshly caught fish and sea food as well as the best influences from the Austrian, Italian, and Croatian cuisine ensure countless culinary highlights.
