The first Awards Ceremony of the World Choir Games 2026 has celebrated the achievements of the choirs competing in The Open Competition during the first part of these Games.

Over the past days, choirs from around the world have taken to the competition stages across Helsingborg, sharing their music, traditions and passion with international juries and fellow singers.

Tonight, the excitement reached its first peak as the participating choirs came together for the Awards Ceremony to receive their diplomas and celebrate the Category Winners of The Open Competition.

In the spirit of the World Choir Games every choir that has stepped onto the stage in Helsingborg has contributed to the special atmosphere of this international celebration of choral music.

But now it is time to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Category Winners of the World Choir Games 2026:

A list of results will be published after the Awards Ceremony of The Champions Competition scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 AM. 

But don't leave here; the World Choir Games are far from over! In the morning of August 10 we will celebrate more winners and crown the first new Champions of the World Choir Games 2026 in the second Awards Ceremony. 

And on August 12 we will open the second part of the event with a colorful Parade of Nations through Helsingborg. Looking forward to many more performances, encounters, and unforgettable moments together!
