The 14th World Choir Games are heading to Helsingborg in 2026!

From August 6–16, the charming coastal city in the south of Sweden will become the global stage for choirs from every corner of the world. This is your moment to shine, connect, and create lasting memories at the largest international choir competition on the planet, known as the Olympic Games of Choral Music.

Sweden awaits—renowned for its groundbreaking choral tradition, musical excellence, and warm hospitality. Helsingborg’s vibrant cultural scene, scenic seafront, and welcoming spirit make it the perfect host for a Games full of music, energy, and heartfelt encounters.

As always, the World Choir Games 2026 offer the perfect format for every choir:

• The Open Competition – ideal for choirs taking their first steps into the world of international competition
• The Champions Competition – for experienced ensembles ready to meet the world’s best

And it’s not just about winning diplomas and medals. Festival activities, Celebration Concerts, Workshops, and Friendship Concerts throughout the city will offer space for cultural exchange and musical connection in unforgettable summer surroundings.
