"I joined for the first time, 2 friends of mine got me hooked on it! I want to thank you! It was so wonderful, I didn’t dare hope that the conductor would guide 1000 singers so well! This resulted from the preparation of each individual singer, the motivation, concentration and also the charisma of Simon Halsey! A wonderful singing experience!"
Sing Along Concert "ON TOUR" Milan
Rundfunkchor Berlin & Friends
In light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 outbreak, INTERKULTUR and the Berlin Radio Choir after a round of consultations with our local partners, authorities and other key stakeholders have decided to reschedule this event for August 26 - 30, 2021.
Starting with the Sing Along projects of the Rundfunkchor Berlin, the idea of this enriching cooperation professional and amateur singers became very soon an international highlight. The outstanding performances of the major works of the choral symphonic literature followed by a growing group of nowadays 1.200 singers are regularly hosted in the major concert halls of Europe.
The highlights of the ON TOUR series so far are the performances at the National Concert Hall in Budapest in 2014, Vienna Konzerthaus in 2016, Philharmonie de Paris in 2018 and Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona 2019.
The next project of the ON TOUR series is Giacomo Puccini’s Messa di Gloria in Milan:
together with Rundfunkchor Berlin and Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, conducted by Simon Halsey at the spectacular Teatro degli Arcimboldi.

DESTINATION
Milan has always been a city ready to welcome and to share its culture and traditions, open to change and to novelties. It constitutes a nerve center for connection with the principle Italian and foreign cities. The city is renowned for its metropolitan character and its talent for business; it also boasts a privileged geographic location that is near both the sea of Liguria and the mountains. Above all, however, it is a destination for culture and entertainment.
Milan is a complete offer that encompasses all modes of transport.
In fact, for those who prefer to travel by air, Milan is serviced by three airports (Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio) that support domestic and international flights.
For those who prefer to travel with their “feet planted firmly on the ground”, there are numerous railway stations (Stazione Centrale, Cadorna Ferrovie Nord, Porta Garibaldi and Lambrate) with services for all destinations.
