INTERKULTUR’s new project combines your wanderlust and your love of music. The ON STAGE event series is ready to check off your list of must-see cities and will do so while providing all the comforts of a non-competitive choral music event and the opportunities and delights of a tourist tour around local traditions, culture and history….and, yes, also around local fun. Worldwide landmark cities like Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Prague, Amsterdam and many other first-rate destinations will be your stage and heaven for the 4-day events which will revolve around friendship concerts, touristic tours, workshops and celebration.

The events are designed for all those who wish to combine their music with travelling, learning and experiencing of new destinations.

The schedule will include touristic activities (sight-seeing), short concerts in touristic places (churches, halls), a workshop with a local choir and a joint concert of all the participants.

Workshop with Yair Klinger

We are very happy to introduce the workshop lecturer to our ON STAGE in Israel, Yair Klinger, a well-known composer, lyric writer, singer, actor and conductor.

Born in Tel Aviv, Mr. Klinger has composed for some of the best known singers in France and Europe. Among them Demis Roussos, Sylvie Vartan, Mike Brant, Rika Zarai, Les Compagnon de la Chanson and others. Meanwhile, in Israel, he composed and wrote lyrics for more than 400 songs which were interpreted by the most famous singers in the country. For 35 years, he has worked with choirs and has written a lot of original compositions as well as vocal arrangements for Israeli classical and modern songs.

Yair Klinger performs an intense activity in Israel and abroad and has won several national and international prizes. In 2001 his song “EIN DAVAR” was interpreted in “The Eurovision Song Contest”, whereas in 2016 he received a special award by EMI –The Israel artists’ organization, for his contribution to Israeli music.
