Ralf Eisenbeiß was born in 1952 in Zeulenroda. After his secondary school examination he studied pedagogy, German philology and musical education. He received his PhD in 1979 at the Pedagogical University of Zwickau. From 1978 to 1981, he studied choir and orchestra conducting at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Weimar.

Ralf Eisenbeiß was working as the director of the choral department at the Pedagogical University in Zwickau and appointed professor for choir conducting and choral singing in 1987. He was conductor of the renowned Pedagogical University Zwickau Choir. With his choir he performed a wide repertoire of compositions for a cappella choirs and with orchestra, too. Under his direction the choir won numerous prizes at national and international choir competitions.

Ralf Eisenbeiß was lecturer at the central seminar for choral conductors in Berlin and organized numerous workshops himself. He often appears as guest conductor at home and abroad. Since almost 30 years he works as artistic director of INTERKULTUR. Ralf Eisenbeiß is founder of the Int. Robert Schumann Choir Competition in Zwickau and one of the founders of the World Choir Games. Since 1992 he was responsible for more than 150 international competitions of INTERKULTUR in Germany, Italy, Korea, Indonesia, China, Austria, Spain, USA and other countries. Ralf Eisenbeiß is very often invited as a juror in national and other international choir competitions all over the world.

Giovanni Acciai was born in 1946, is a renowned Italian composer, university professor, juror, workshop leader and conductor. He studied organ, composition, and choir conducting at the Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” in Milan, and took his master degree in musicology at Pavia University. Giovanni Acciai was conductor of the Chamber choir of the Italian Brodcast and of the Symphonic Choir of the Italian Broadcast in Turin.

Presently, he is the conductor and artistic director of the vocal and instrumental ensembles “I Solisti del Madrigale”, and the collegium vocale “Nova ars cantandi”, with which he has made concert tours and recordings; he has published several articles and reviews on early music, musicological essays, as well as recordings of unreleased works for the publishers Antes, Stradivarius, Sarx, Unda maris Archiv Deutsches Grammophon and Tactus.

His latest CD production with Nova Ars Cantandi, the "Armonici entusiasmi di Davide" by Giovanni Battista Bassani, has been nominated for the International Classic Music Award as the best CD of the year 2017 in the category Early Music.

He teaches musical history and early music semiography at the Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” in Milan, moreover he is the artistic director of the International choir competitions of Grado and Quartiano. He is regularly invited as an international jury member and jury president in most renewed choir competitions; he is sought after as a lecturer at conferences of musicology and asked to hold masterclasses for choral conducting in Italy and abroad.

For his high-ranking international artistical achievements in 1991, he was appointed honorary member of the American Choral Directors Associations (ACDA). Giovanni Acciai was a member in the panel of the International juries at the Choir Olympics as well as the World Choir Games and since 2004 he is an active member and official representative for Italy in the international World Choir Council.

Since 2014, he is artistic director of the Accademia di Musica Antica of Milan and active member of the Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne” (REMA) of Versailles.

Marleen De Boo (Antwerp-Belgium) obtained both an MA in Music Pedagogy and in Choral Conducting.
She lectures choral conducting at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and is conductor of the Great Choir at that same institute.
At the Podiumacademie Lier she teaches choral conducting in courses for amateurs, but also for semi-professionals and professionals. One of these programs focuses on working with children and youth.
Marleen is artistic director of VZW Waelrantkoren, a non-pro t organization with eight choirs, ve of them conducted by her.
Her conducting practice covers various age groups with a strong emphasis on the pedagogical aspects of choral singing. Her main motivation is to allow amateurs, especially children and young people, to discover the beauty of choral music. She strives for her choirs to be a gentle environment for young people searching for their identity, a place where everyone can show their true self.
With Waelrant Youth Choir, she participates in international festivals and competitions. This choir currently holds the 15th place in the Interkultur World Ranking.

André van der Merwe is a conductor and composer from Cape Town, South Africa. He is often invited to perform as guest conductor, adjudicator and clinician nationally and internationally. He has been invited to work with universities and companies in the USA, Sweden, Germany, China, and Portugal amongst others. André van der Merwe initially studied B.Mus at the University of Cape Town, but later changed course and studied B.Drama (Directing) at the University of Stellenbosch. He received national awards and prizes as actor and director. André van der Merwe was invited e.g. as adjudicator and clinician for the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, Wales (July 2013) and guest conductor and lecturer for the Taipei International Choral Festival and the Taipei Philharmonic (August 2013). His arrangements of African music are published by Earthsongs in the USA. Currently he conducts the Stellenbosch University Choir (number one choir on the INTERKULTUR World Rankings) and the the Stellenberg Girls Choir. From 2005 – 2012 he has established and conducted the South African Youth Choir. In 2012 André van der Merwe received a ministerial cultural award (Western Cape Government) for his work with choirs and the youth and a civic honorary award from the City of Cape Town. In 2012 André has been selected as the South African representative on the World Choir Council for INTERKULTUR.

Fabiana Noro received a diploma in piano, composition and choir direction from the Conservatory of Udine. She was assistant choir conductor at the Opera Body “Pierluigi da Palestrina” in Cagliari for several operatic-symphonic productions. Since January 2003, Noro has directed the Polyphonic Choir of Ruda, a men’s choir with which she won four first prizes at the XXXIX national contest in Vittorio Veneto 2004, the Absolute First Prize Romantic Category at the IX International Contest in Tallinn, Estonia in April 2005, the Second Prize in Category Polyphony at the LIII International Contest in Arezzo in August 2005, and four first prizes in the Anton Bruckner Competition including Best Conductor in 2007. Noro has also received a Gold Medal in sacred music, polyphony, and folklore, and named Champion of Male Choirs in the 2008 World Choir Games in Graz, Austria. In the Franz Schubert competition in Vienna in 2009, Noro won four first prizes including the Grand Prize and the Franz Schubert Award for best interpretation of a piece by the same author.

In March 2015 has won three first prizes and special prize a s best Conductor at the 2nd International Choir Competition “Canta en Primavera” in Málaga, followed by further four first prizes in Lloret de Mar in 2017. Noro has a very busy concert life as a pianist for internationally known singers including Raina Kabaivanska, Katia Ricciarelli, Lella Cuberli, Bonaldo Giaiotti, Alfredo Mariotti, and many others. She is often invited to be an international jury member of the jury in national and international choir competitions.
