YOU ARE INVITED

We are excited to start the choral year of 2020 in the wonderful city of Kobe, Japan.

Come to Kobe with INTERKULTUR and Sing’n’Pray with us! Hardly a sentence applies here better than that of St. Augustine: “Those who sing pray twice!”

Destination

Perched on a hillside sloping down to the sea, Kobe is one of Japan's most attractive and cosmopolitan cities. It was a maritime gateway from the earliest days of trade with China and home to one of the first foreign communities after Japan reopened to the world in the mid-19th century. One of Kobe's best features is its relatively small size – most sights can be reached on foot from the main train stations, making it a pleasure for casual wandering and stopping in its high quality restaurants and cafes. The most pleasant neighbourhoods to explore are Kitano-chõ, Nankinmachi Chinatown and, after dark, the bustling area around Sannomiya Station.
