African Asia Pacific Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations Mauritius 2025

September 27 - October 5, 2025 Mauritius

Welcome to Paradise!

The tropical island of Mauritius is world-famous for its pristine beaches and extensive coral reefs. The African Asia Pacific Choir Games will be a great opportunity for choirs from around the world to experience Mauritius’ beauty, culture and hospitality first-hand!

Due to the island's location in the Indian Ocean and belonging to Africa, this event welcomes choirs from Africa and from the Asia Pacific Region alike, combining the already established Asia Pacific Choir Games with the African continent for the first time.

Port Louis, the vibrant capital of Mauritius, offers a lively backdrop, while concert venues are spread across the island, showcasing its cultural richness. Among them, the prestigious Caudan Arts Centre in Port Louis will open its doors to the Choir Games in 2025!

Come and see for yourself what an islander once told the American writer Mark Twain: “Mauritius was made first and then heaven; and heaven was copied after Mauritius”.

Participation Opportunities

This event invites all non-professional choirs of the world to participate, offering fair and realistic competition to experienced competitive choirs as well as to choirs with relatively little international experience.

The African Asia Pacific Choir Games combined with the Grand Prix of Nations Mauritius 2025 offers the Open Competition, the Champions Competition and the Grand Prix of Nations. These three competitions allow choirs the opportunity to participate at the appropriate level an even to qualify for the higher levels.
