ECG & GPoN 2023 – Qualified Choirs (Nov 3)

The second part of the 5th European Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations Norrköping 2023 opened yesterday with a parade of choirs and a warm welcome of the choirs in the Louis De Geer Konsert & Kongress.  Michael Barrett from South Africa invited everybody for a Sing Along Session and the fantastic duo RoxorLoops & Jasmin from Denmark had a musical surprise in store with an impressive mix of beatboxing and singing. 

Today it's the choirs' turn with showing their talents on the stages in Norrköping, competing in the Open Competition and in the European Champions Competition. The best of them have qualified to a higher level of competition and will perform in the front of the jury once again. Here are the choirs that were nominated to go on stage again in their category:

Norrköpings Vokalensemble, Sweden
S:t Olofs Kammarkör, Sweden
have qualified to the European Champions Competition C3 - Chamber Choirs/Vocal Ensembles

O5 - Musica Sacra a cappella

Exaudio, Finland
has qualified to the Grand Prix of Nations GP5 - Musica Sacra a cappella

Merchant Taylors' Girls' School, Great Britain
has qualified to the European Champions Competition C5 - Musica Sacra a cappella

O8 - Pop, Jazz, Show

V.O.I.C.E - Vienna Pop & Jazz Choir, Austria
qualified to the European Champions Competition C8 - Pop, Jazz, Show
