The Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017 in one of the most exciting metropolises is in the starting blocks and the registration for the international choral competition is now possible.

In the context of the Festival of Cultures 2017 the host city Berlin invites singers from all over the world from February 1-5, 2017. Beside the competition choirs have the opportunity to apply for special Gala Concerts, which will take place in the Top venues of the capital Berlin. Also for individual singers something is offered: the three-time Grammy winning Berlin Radio Choir offers two Singalong-Workshops, for which individuals can apply.

The event`s highlight will be the big finale: beside the performances of the winners of the Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017, the choral works of the Singalong-Workshops will be performed together with the Berlin Radio Choir. Moreover all choirs will present John Rutter`s Requiem in a joint performance.

The chamber music hall of the Berlin Philharmonie, one of the best concert halls in Germany, will provide a worthy framework not only for the big final, but also for the competitions of the Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017.

The official registration deadline for the Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017 is September 12, 2016, all Early Birds can register till June 6, 2016.
