Because of today’s rainy weather forecast, the organizers of the 13th International Choir Competition & Festival Bad Ischl have decided to cancel the traditional Choir Parade.

Accompanied by the marching band "Mitterweissenbach" the choirs planned to march through the city and to share their love to music with the habitants of Bad Ischl.

The Official Opening including welcoming speeches of Major Hannes Heide and the festival’s Artistic Director Romāns Vanags will take place at 5 p.m. in the Kongress & Theaterhaus.

Despite the bad weather we can’t wait to officially welcome the 24 choirs from 14 different nations in Bad Ischl.
