Voices & Wine above the rooftops of Aarhus
Members of the World Choir Council
During the European Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations 2025 in Aarhus, the more than 20 membres of the World Choir Council came together to have a drink together and exchange ideas and informatoin on the rooftop of Musikhuset Aarhus. With inspiring views over the city, Council members shared insights and opinions in an open and friendly atmosphere, strengthening international collaboration within the global choral community.
In this setting, Günter Titsch, President of the World Choir Council, also appointed the South African choral expert Michael Barrett as Vice President of the World Choir Council. At the same time, Jürgen Budday (Germany) was appointed Chairman, Senior Advisor, of the Advisory Board of the World Choir Council.
Afterwards all participants visited the Celebration Concert of Akademisk Kor Aarhus from Denmark and Stellenbosch University Choir from South Africa in the Musikhuset Aarhus together.
