Actions speak louder than words

Participating Choir endowed School in Sochi

World Choir Games 2016

Three days full of competitions and top-class concerts have already faded away and tomorrow the first results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony. Then the first part of the World Choir Games will come to an end.

However, before one participant makes its way home the Guangzhou South China Experimental Art Troupe from China wanted to thank the organizers and especially the school that hosts the World Choir Games team during the entire event. Choral representatives overhanded a special gift to the school, a dulcimer (yangchin), a popular instrument in China. The children in Sochi can now learn how to play it.

Also INTERKULTUR represented by Prof. Dr. Ralf Eisenbeiß, Artistic Director of the World Choir Games, received a special present: a calligraphy banner with true words “Songs intersperse in Sochi and convey our love to the world!"
