On the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, INTERKULTUR was invited to serve as cohost of a truly special global EARTHDAY.ORG event — the "Blue Planet Green World" Global Chorus Concert. INTERKULTUR President Mr. Günter Titsch was honored to contribute with a video greeting as Ambassador of World Earth Day 2025: 

Dear friends from around the world,

On April 22nd each year, we celebrate Earth Day worldwide to raise awareness of environmental issues and promote efforts for greater environmental protection. This year, we celebrate the 55th anniversary of Earth Day, and it is my great honor, on behalf of INTERKULTUR and the World Choir Council, the World Choir Games, and the entire organizing committee of World Choir Events, to express my heartfelt congratulations and deepest respect to all those who are committed to protecting our environment.

We are fortunate to live in a diverse and inclusive world. It is our shared responsibility to protect our home planet – the Earth – and to ensure that future generations can live in a peaceful and hopeful environment filled with love and respect for one another.

Choral music, as a universal language without national boundaries, not only beautifies the world and uplifts the human spirit, but also serves as a bridge between people, fostering friendship and goodwill, and warming the hearts of people worldwide. In our ever-changing world, it is more important than ever that we come closer together and support one another.

May each of our actions contribute to protecting the home of all humanity – our Earth – driving away the smoke of war and fighting the damage caused by disasters. We must do everything we can to provide a better future for people.

It is a great honor for me to be an ambassador for Earth Day 2025. I call on all of us to put into practice the mission of INTERKULTUR and the Choral Olympic Movement: "Singing together brings nations together." Let us extend our hands at future World Choir Games and unite in the INTERKULTUR choral movement, expressing our concerns about the state of the Earth through our singing and actions. Together, we will raise awareness for environmental protection and work to protect our planet, with hope for a peaceful future for all.
