New choirs in town: This day of the World Choir Games 2018 welcomes new choirs to the second part of the event. The team at the registration desk is looking forward to welcome familiar faces like the Mountain Top Chorale from Nigeria and the Kammerchor Wernigerode from Germany as well as new singers such as the Mpumalanga Mass Choir from South Africa.

Time for a visit of the World Choir Village – meeting place for choirs, guests, choral music lovers and locals and a good opportunity for an offhand choir session with like-minded people from all over the world! They offer an open stage for all choirs to perform their favorite piece of music and their winning choral works. A good opportunity to see them on stage once again!

Today at 16:00h the Mayoral Legacy Concert at the Sun Arena at Times Square will take place, featuring highlights of African choral music and celebrating the legacy of famous Africans. Instead of buying a ticket to attend, everyone is asked to bring a new pair of shoes or a blanket or a packed toiletry bag to gain entry. These gifts will be distributed to the most needy people in Tshwane.
