Einstimmig als einer der größten Interpreten des Vokalrepertoires der Renaissance und des Barock anerkannt, Giovanni Acciai studierte Chormusik, Chorleitung Orgel und Orgelkomposition am Konservatorium „Giuseppe Verdi“ in Mailand und machte seinen Master in Musikwissenschaft an der Universität Pavia. Er war Dirigent des Kammerchors und des Symphoniechors des italienischen Rundfunks und der Corale Universitaria zu Turin; Derzeit ist er Dirigent und künstlerischer Leiter der Vokal- und Instrumentalensembles „I Solisti del Madrigale“ und „Nova ars cantandi“, mit denen er eine intensive Konzert- und Aufnahmetätigkeit durchführt. Für die Verlage Antes, Stradivarius, Sarx, Unda maris, Tactus und Archiv Deutsches Grammophon hat er mehrere Artikel und Rezensionen zu alter Musik, musikwissenschaftlichen Aufsätzen sowie Aufnahmen unveröffentlichter Werke veröffentlicht.

Seine jüngste CD-Produktion mit Nova Ars Cantandi, die "Armonici entusiasmi di Davide" von Giovanni Battista Bassani, wurde für den International Classic Music Award als beste CD des Jahres 2017 in der Kategorie Alte Musik nominiert. Die CD "Contrafacta" (Monteverdi) wurde für die Magazine Classic Voice und Amadeus zum Album des Monats gekürt, und ebenso die CD "Responsoria" von Leonardo Leo für die Zeitschrift für Musikkritik Musica. Giovanni Acciai ist Professor für Musikgeschichte und Alte Musik am Konservatorium „Giuseppe Verdi“ in Mailand und ist künstlerischer Leiter der Internationalen Chorwettbewerbe von Quartiano, Grado, Perugia und Lucca.

Er wird regelmäßig als internationales Jurymitglied und Jurypräsident zu den meisten erneuten Chorwettbewerben eingeladen. Als Dozent wird er für Konferenzen der Musikwissenschaft gesucht und gebeten, Meisterkurse für Chorleitung in Italien und im Ausland abzuhalten. Für seine hochrangigen internationalen künstlerischen Leistungen wurde er 1991 zum Ehrenmitglied der American Choral Directors Associations (ACDA) ernannt. Giovanni Acciai war Mitglied der Jury der Internationalen Chorolympiade sowie der World Choir Games und seit 2004 aktives Mitglied und offizieller Vertreter Italiens im World Choir Games International World Choir Council. Seit 2014 ist er künstlerischer Leiter der Accademia di Musica Antica in Mailand und seit 2005 aktives Mitglied des Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne (REMA) in Versailles.

Prof. Ren studied under the supervision of the conductor and music educator Prof. Geshun Ma, and started his own career in choral arts and teaching in 1983. By adding decades of practical achievements into Chinese choral realm, with the aid of innovation, he created the distinctive choir “Peiyang Acoustics”.

Prof. Ren is regularly invited to give lectures in more than 30 provinces and cities in China and many young conductors and composers are nurtured by Prof. Ren, like Yong Mao, Yuchuan Wen, Wenhao Mou, Jinming Zhu, Can Zheng, Wei Cui.

Throughout the years, he has set up Choral Appreciation, Chorus and Conduct and other courses at the Tianjin University. Apart from that, he advocates for holding Chinese Chorus Conductor Masterclasses, the pedagogic achievements of which won the Chinese government's rewards. Prof. Ren also shouldered the responsibility successively to be the Art Director of more than 20 choirs and is guest professor at a large number of universities.

Prof. Baoping Ren is Vice Director-General of the China Choral Association and of the China higher-education academy musical education major committee, Chairman of China higher-education choral committee, Vice Director of the China Choral Association University Choral Committee, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of Peiyang Chorus and is regularly invited as a judge for international choir competitions.

Michael is the conductor of the University of Pretoria (TUKS) Camerata and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Music. He was a member of the Drakensberg Boys Choir and today holds a Doctorate in Music Performance (UP) and a Performance Licentiate from UNISA.
Tuks Camerata is largely regarded as one of the finest University ensembles in the world, having won the World Choir Games (Riga 2014), the Grand Prix of Nations (Riga 2017) and having been invited to the World Choral Symposium in Barcelona (2017). The choir has been nominated for three consecutive SAMA’s for CD Albums that have been received to critical acclaim. Michael is also an active composer and arranger. His music is internationally published by Santa Barbara Music Publishers and Walton Music.

Jürgen Budday studierte von 1967 bis 1974 Schulmusik, Kirchenmusik und Musikwissenschaft an der Musikhochschule Stuttgart. Von 1979 bis 2012 unterrichtete er am Evangelisch-theologischen Seminar Maulbronn, einem Gymnasium mit Internat.

Er ist der Gründer und künstlerischer Leiter des "Maulbronner Kammerchors", den er bis Juni 2016 dirigierte. Von 1979 bis 2013 war er der künstlerische Leiter der "Klosterkonzerte Maulbronn" am ersten UNESCO-Weltkulturdenkmal Baden-Württembergs und entwickelte die Konzertreihe zu einem Klassik-Festival mit internationalem Renommee.

Mit dem Maulbronner Kammerchor errang er zahlreiche Preise im In- und Ausland, wie etwa den 1. Preis bei den Internationalen Chortagen Prag 1990 und 1998, den 2. Preis beim 3. Deutschen Chorwettbewerb 1990 in Stuttgart, 2009 den 2. Preis beim Internationalen Kammerchorwettbewerb in Marktoberdorf und den Sieg beim Internationalen Chorwettbewerb auf Malta. Bei den Internationalen Chortagen in Prag erhielt er eine Auszeichnung als bester Dirigent.

Goschl aus München in Bezug auf die Interpretation gregorianischer Gesänge und unterrichtet Choleitung und gregorianische Gesänge an der VŠMU. Kolena ist regelmäßig als Jurymitglied aktiv und leitet weltweit Workshops zu vokaler Polyphonie, gregorianischen Gesänge und zeitgenössischer slowakischer Musik. Seit 1998 ist er Künstlerischer Leiter des internationalen Festivals in Bratislava und seit 2013 Präsident der Slowakischen Chorvereinigung. Zusammen mit Schola Gregoriana Bratisalvensis nahm Kolena CDs bratislavischer Antiphonen für die Slowakische Nationalbibliothek auf. 2014 hielt er an drei amerikanischen Universitäten Vorlesungen zur Interpretation lateinischer Texte in geistlicher Chormusik ab. Kittiporn Tantrarungroj associated himself with choral singing since his early age as a member of a church choir in his hometown. He enriched his experiences and learned the art of choral conducting while studying in the Philippines.

He is a well-known figure both in Thailand and in the international choral community. He is frequently invited as lecturer, clinician and jury member and has also served as an adviser to several ensembles in Thailand. Tantrarungroj is a vivid choral arranger and composer. His over hundred choral arrangements are frequently sung by various choirs in Thailand.

He has conducted numerous groups, from church to school and university choir as well as community and concert choirs. At present, he conducts “The Bangkok Voices”, a multi-award winning choir which is considered to be the best choral group in Thailand and currently claiming place 114 in the INTERKULTUR World Ranking List.
Moreover Tantrarungroj is an accomplished piano and organ player.

André van der Merwe ist ein Chorleiter und Komponist aus Kapstadt, Südafrika. Er ist ein gefragter Gastdirigent, Juror und Seminarleiter auf nationalen und internationalen Veranstaltungen und wird häufig von Universitäten und Unternehmen für Projekte u.a. in den USA, Schweden, China und Portugal eingeladen. An der Universität Kapstadt studierte er zunächst im Bachelorstudiengang Musikwissenschaften und wechselte jedoch zum Bachelorstudiengang Dramaturgie (Regie) an die Universität Stellenbosch. Er wurde sowohl als Schauspieler als auch als Regisseur mit nationalen Preisen und Auszeichnungen geehrt. André van der Merwe wurde u.a. als Juror und Workshopleiter für das Festival Llangollen International Eisteddfod, Wales (Juli 2013) und Gastdirigent für das Taipei International Choral Festival sowie die Taipei Philharmonie (August 2013) eingeladen. Seine Arrangements afrikanischer Musik werden durch den Verlag Earthsongs in den USA veröffentlicht. Momentan leitet er den Stellenbosch University Choir (Nummer 1 der INTERKULTUR-Weltrangliste) und den Stellenberg Girls Choir. Von 2005 bis 2012 gründete und leitete er den South African Youth Choir. 2012 erhielt André van der Merwe eine amtliche kulturelle Auszeichnung (von der Regierung der Westkap-Provinz) für seine Arbeit mit Chören und Jugendlichen sowie die Ehrenbürgerschaft Kapstadts. Jonathan Velasco is a much sought after choral conductor, clinician and adjudicator in the world today. He studied at the University of the Philippines College of Music and at the Berliner Kirchenmusikschule in Germany.

He was a member and assistant conductor of the World Youth Choir, and for the 1996 summer session became its first Asian conductor. Jonathan Velasco regularly holds choral clinics and workshops all over the world. Together with his choirs, he has won first prizes in choral competitions in Maribor, Cork, Marktoberdorf, Tolosa, Torrevieja, and Riga. He has also been a member of the jury in prestigious choral competitions in Europe and Asia. He currently conducts the Ateneo Chamber Singers.

Jonathan Velasco is an adviser to the board of the International Federation for Choral Music, and is the Philippine representative to the World Choir Council. In 2008, he was elected the first President of the newly formed Philippine Choral Directors Association.

Elena Veremeenko wurde 1978 in Leningrad geboren und startete mit 7 Jahren im ersten Kinderchor der UdSSR, "Pioneria", der 1953 vom russischen Komponisten und Dirigenten G. Struve gegründet wurde. Im Jahr 2002 schloss Elena Veremeenko ihr Studium (Chorleitung) am Tschaikowsky Konservatorium mit Auszeichnung ab und arbeitete mit führenden Dirigenten der Welt in einem Kammerchor unter der Leitung von B. Tevlin. Sie nimmt regelmäßig an internationalen Wettbewerben und Meisterkursen in Italien, Deutschland, Finnland, Frankreich, Österreich, Polen, den USA und anderen Ländern teil. 1998 war sie Chorleiterin von "Pioneria". Im Jahr 2004 wurde sie dessen Chefchorleiterin und Dirigentin, und unter ihrer musikalischen Leitung errang der Chor zahlreiche Preise und Diplome bei nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben (Deutschland, Italien, Österreich, Ukraine etc.). Neben der Teilnahme an Wettbewerben gab der Chor viele Konzerte in Russland und im Ausland und nimmt zudem an Shows mit den besten Moskauer Orchestern teil. Seit 2014 tritt der Chor im Moskauer Theater der Neuen Oper mit unterschiedlichem Repertoire auf (Bach, Tschaikowsky, Puccini, Szymanowski, Janacek). Elena Veremeenko ist die künstlerische Leiterin des jährlichen Chorfestivals im Großen Saal des Moskauer Konservatoriums; außerdem arbeitet sie als Schauspielerin und Solistin am Theater für Musik und Dichtung unter E. Kamburova.

Mathew Wright ist seit über 20 Jahren im Bildungssektor tätig und hat in verschiedenen Funktionen an Schulen gearbeitet, zuletzt als regionaler Bildungsdirektor für einen Trust, der 27 Schulen in ganz England betreute. Er hat als beratender Lehrer und als fortgeschrittener Lehrer gearbeitet und auf nationaler Ebene Unterstützung und Schulungen für die Primar-, Sekundar-, FE- und HE-Ebene angeboten und Ressourcen für Regierungspublikationen bereitgestellt. Er ist Gründer und künstlerischer Leiter des Barnsley Youth Choir und Gründer der Barnsley Singers (ein Gemeinschaftschor für Erwachsene) und hat den Chor zu einer international preisgekrönten und anerkannten Organisation entwickelt.
Als Mitglied der internationalen Jury hat Mat bei einigen der wichtigsten Wettbewerbe der Welt mitgewirkt, unter anderem bei den World Choir Games. Er arbeitet eng mit herausragenden Organisationen wie der Kodaly-Schule (Ungarn), der Adolf-Fredriks-Musikschule (Schweden) und der Universität von Pretoria (Südafrika) zusammen, die alle nach Barnsley gereist sind, um mit dem BYC zu arbeiten, und ist weltweit ein gefragter Chorleiter und Workshop-Leiter.
Im Jahr 2019 wurde Mat als Vertreter Großbritanniens in den World Choir Council berufen und im Januar 2020 wurde er von der Königin für seine Verdienste um junge Menschen zum Mitglied des Order of the British Empire (MBE) ernannt. Im Jahr 2022 wurde er außerdem zum "Freeman of Barnsley" ernannt, um seine Arbeit in der Gemeinde zu würdigen.
