Mauritius proudly welcomes the world to the African Asia Pacific Choir Games & Grand Prix of Nations Mauritius 2025, a spectacular celebration of music, unity, and cultural diversity. This grand celebration will take place from 27 September to 5 October 2025.

The Opening Ceremony has taken place on 27 September 2025 at the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex, which has marked the beginning of an extraordinary musical journey where choirs from across continents gather to share their voices, traditions, and artistry.

This vibrant event is a result of a powerful partnership between INTERKULTUR, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Mauritius, and the Local Organizing Committee for the International Choir Competitions 2025 (LOCICC 2025).

The organizers extend sincere gratitude to the valuable sponsors  (Olympia Sports, Quality Beverages Ltd, Planet Pharma, Mauritius Telecom, SBM, and McDonald's Mauritius), whose invaluable support has been instrumental in making this festival of cultures a reality.

This vibrant event will showcase the harmony of nations through a colorful and inspiring program presented by local and international talents. It is not only a competition but also a festival of cultures, bringing together communities in the spirit of friendship, peace, and mutual respect.

Honorable Darmarajen NAGALINGUM, Minister of Youth and Sports, emphasized the profound goal of the event: “This grand cultural event confirms that we are not merely hosting games, we are leveraging the universal language of music to create an enduring legacy of harmony and cooperation for the world.”

The Chairperson of LOCICC 2025, Mr. Giandev Moteea, OSK, expressed his thanks to INTERKULTUR, stating : "We are grateful to INTERKULTUR for entrusting Mauritius with these Games. Though we met with challenges, their partnership and guidance steered us back on course in a realistic way."
