Today marks the beginning of the much-anticipated Sing Along Concert Barcelona 2025, led by world-renowned composer and conductor Eric Whitacre. From September 12–14, more than 1,000 singers and audience members from around 40 countries will gather at the Palau de la Música Catalana for an unforgettable weekend of music-making.

Following the extraordinary success of the 2023 edition, the event once again offers singers the unique opportunity to rehearse and perform directly under the baton of Eric Whitacre. Over the coming days, participants will work intensively on some of his most cherished works, including The Seal Lullaby, Sing Gently, Cloudburst, and selections from The Sacred Veil, alongside spirituals by Moses Hogan and Laura Mvula’s Sing to the Moon.

The experience culminates in a Grand Closing Concert on Saturday, September 13, at 19:00 in the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage-listed concert hall. Sharing the stage with the acclaimed Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Música Catalana, participants will bring this diverse program to life in one of Europe’s most prestigious venues.

With singers already arriving for first rehearsals, the atmosphere in Barcelona is vibrant with anticipation. The Palau de la Música Catalana, an architectural jewel and cultural landmark, now becomes the meeting place for a truly international choral community, united by the passion of singing together.

The Sing Along Concert Barcelona 2025 promises not only outstanding musical moments but also connections across cultures, voices, and borders – a celebration of what choral music can achieve.
