Málaga: Spring is coming!
For the third time the Andalusian metropolis invites to the choir competition
Although Europe slowly prepares to the dark and cold season, we have now a good reason to dream of another season! Are you joining us?
In the spring, when the days in Europe are slowly getting longer, the winter cap can be put back in the closet, the nature awakes from hibernation, when everything starts to bloom and the coffee in the sun tastes especially good again, then it's time for: Canta en Primavera - Singing in Spring!
Already for the third time, from April 26 to 30, 2017 the International Choir Festival "Canta en Primavera - Festival Internacional Coral" invites amateur choirs from all over the world to the south of Spain, to Málaga.
"With Málaga we have found a wonderful destination that promises a variety of cultural and scenic impressions to the choirs and welcomes its international guests with open arms," announces Fred Sjöberg, Artistic Director of the event.
Venues such as the Teatro Cervantes de Málaga, the Santa Iglesia Catedral Basilica de la Encarnación Cathedral and a lot of stunning places in the inner city provide optimal conditions for the four-day festival and competitions in altogether ten categories. Considering that the Andalusian city can look forward to warm temperatures already in April, there is no reason against Friendship Concerts under the blue sky.
Interested choirs which decide to join the choir festival in the Spanish spring until September 26, 2016, will receive an early bird discount. Regular registration deadline is December 12, 2016. All information about the “Canta en Primavera - Festival Coral Internacional” can be found here.
