Also in 2017 INTERKULTUR goes ON STAGE with you and invites you to some of Europe’s most dazzling destinations. Following a fantastic premiere in 2016 Sweden’s capital and largest city Stockholm will once again welcome choirs from May 11 - 14, 2017. Registration is still possible until December 19.
City with a unique choral scene
Sweden boasts 200 years of exceptional choral music history and no wonder it has some of the best choirs in the world. Eric Ericson’s vision of the cooperation between amateur and professional singers has become reality in the Stockholm’s unique choral scene.
Getting to know Swedish Choral Music
ON STAGE participants will experience this first-hand in a workshop. They will learn about Swedish singing traditions and practice some songs.
Making new friends
Three choirs – Round About Vocals from Denmark, China Talented Women Chorus and the Kinderchor 1 des Goethe-Gymnasiums Schwerin from Germany – have already decided to be part of the event and will sing and get to know each other in Stockholm.
