Celebrating the winners of Sing'n'Pray Kobe 2024

Choirs receive Golden and Silver Diplomas in Japan

Sing'n'Pray Kobe

The 3rd Sing'n'Pray Kobe International Choir Festival & Competition has concluded with resounding success, marking a joyous start to the INTERKULTUR choral year 2024. 13 Choirs from 7 nations had gathered in Kobe, Japan to show once more that music knows no boundaries and has the remarkable ability to unite nations.

Following the Awards Ceremony as the emotional conclusion of the event we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating choirs. Johan Rooze, Artistic Director of the event, stated in his closing speech: “With a high level of singing and all of you have done your very best to convince the international jury and the audience of your skills.”

In recognition of their particular dedication and success in the event, we applaud the following choirs on their category wins:

A Special Prize was awarded to the CancaoNova Choir from Japan, conducted by Shimonzono Taiki, for their extraordinary and captivating competition program.

The Conductor’ Prize was given to Mr. Yue Sun, conductor of the ByeZoo Choir (China) for his outstanding achievement.
