All competitions and concerts at a glance
Today the second part of the World Choir Games 2016 in the wonderful Sochi begins. Numerous choirs are arrived in the last days and are well-prepared for the competitions in the next days.
The competitions will begin already at 10 a.m. with the category “Young Children’s Choirs” in the Winter Theater. So everyone who wants to listen to the little ones within the big ones is warmly invited.
We will continue with a workshop at 11 a.m. in the Concert Hall “Zhemchuzhina” with Ludumo Lagangane from South Africa. This workshop will provide an introduction to the diversity of African folk songs. Through the example of "Emajikeni" – a song especially prepared for this workshop - you will rehearse the pronunciation and interpretation of African song and develop choreography.
Tickets for the workshop can be purchased until the workshop start for 300 Rubels directly at the Zhemchuzhina.
In the evening the Summer Theater and the Green Theater will open once again the doors when Pop and Jazz ensembles and choirs from Namibia, Russia and Chinese Taipei will perform. Both concerts will start at 8 p.m.
