Happy New Year and a warm welcome to 2018!

An exciting year is lying ahead for all of us. Again we will have a year full of events, choral singing, joy and emotions. However, for us at INTERKULTUR 2018 will be a very special year:

We are celebrating our 30th birthday!

Our anniversary year will be more exciting than any other year before. We’re starting our choral year early with the brandnew Sing’n’Pray Kobe event in Japan in January.

The musical journey comprises renowned events such as the International Choir Competition and Festival Bad Ischl (Austria) or Canta al mar in Spain but also more new destinations like the Helsingborgs Körfestival in Sweden. And of course this year’s must see destination is Tshwane, South Africa, where INTERKULTUR will celebrate a terrific 10th jubilee edition of the World Choir Games in its anniversary year.

Since 1988 our team strives to put the birthday slogan “30 years Joy of Singing” into practise at venues around the globe. And therefore we will not only offer outstanding choral experiences at our events but also some interesting choral treats and titbits throughout INTERKULTUR’s birthday year.
