South Koreas biggest music publisher J&A Music and INTERKULTUR, leading initiator and organizer of international choral competitions, have announced a closer cooperation starting in 2018. An Sung-bok, President of J&A Music and Donald Kim, Executive Vice President of J&A Music met Günter Titsch, President of INTERKULTUR, Stefan Bohländer, Vice President of INTERKULTUR and Gent Lazri, Director International Choral Networking in Fernwald, Germany. Both parties agreed on a stronger collaboration with the aim to simplify the process for South Korean choirs to join international choral festivals and INTERKULTUR events worldwide. Mr Titsch and Mr An agreed that J&A Music will be the only partner organization of INTERKULTUR in South Korea.

J&A Music is South Koreas biggest music publisher and was founded in 1994 in Seoul. Since 2012 this institution furthermore regularly hosts events with top international choirs. “We are proud to cooperate for the benefit of South Korean choirs with one of South Koreas most renowned music companies”, Günter Titsch mentioned during the meeting in Fernwald on December 18, 2017.

J&A Music and INTERKULTUR both expressed their wish that more South Korean choirs will make use of this exceptional cooperation for their future participation at international choral events worldwide.
