Preparation for the 10th edition of the World Choir Games 2018 in Tshwane, South Africa is progressing. Since the event’s beginnings in the year 2000 every World Choir Games gets its own face and atmosphere related to the respective host country and its cultural and musical traditions. For this reason, there has also been created an own event logo again in order to present uniqueness of the World Choir Games 2018.

The core of the logo is the head of a lion symbolizing the host country South Africa and at the same time the strengths and immense power that arises when thousands of voices sing together – as it happens at each World Choir Games.
