One Song – One World
Official Song of the World Choir Games 2016
Everybody remembers "I Can", the rousing and universal song that sounded in Cincinnati 2012 and inspired the singers from all over to join in singing and to embody the power of the song. Also the hymn "My Song" that accompanied the World Choir Games 2014 in Riga, stays in the ears and recalls exciting festival days in the Singing Nation Latvia.
The official Song for the World Choir Games 2016 in Sochi is "One Song – One World".
The composer of the song is Igor Shadyuk, one of the Artistic Directors of the 9th World Choir Games in Sochi. He currently is Head of the Department of Professional Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Krasnodar Region.
The song is sung by the G.F. Ponomarenko „Chorus of the Krasnodar Territory” of the Krasnodar Philharmonic.
