The Bay Area Showcase Chorus on stage at the Golden State Choral Trophy

This statement describes the philosophy of the Bay Area Showcase Chorus, one of the participating choirs of the Golden State Choral Trophy, taking place from November 20-24 in Monterey. As part of Sweet Adelines International, the choir’s motto is "Harmonize the world."
The Bay Area Showcase Chorus consists of more than 100 women including singers business and professional women, homemakers, retirees and students. Since 1956 the choir presents a wild range of choral music, from traditional a cappella music to barbershop songs. They entertain the Bay area throughout the year and have performing groups of all sizes, from quartets to small chorus ensembles to the full chorus.
Every year in spring, Bay Area Showcase Chorus participates in the regional chorus competition that involves choirs from Oregon, Hawaii, Nevada, and all of northern California. The chorus most recently earned its 14th first place medal at regional competition, with the highest score ever earned in the region.
In a few weeks the charming ladies will perform on stage at the Golden State Choral Trophy in category Pop. We can’t wait to enjoy your show!
