One Single Bell

Christmas sounds from Utah

Christmas Carols

Silent and contemplative sounds will be presented today by young singers from Provo, Utah: the 9-man A cappella group Vocal Point from the Brigham Young University as well as the Once Voice Children's Choir.

BYU Vocal Point was founded in 1991 by students of the Brigham Young University in Provo and is held under the patronage of the University. The A cappella group has become a worldwide success. Among other they are the winner of the International Championship of Collegiate A cappella (ICCA) in 2006, a competition for collegiate A cappella groups from the whole world.

The cooperation with the One Voice Children's Choir is due to their home town Provo. Founded on the occasion of the Olympic Winter Games 2002, the Children's choir with some 140 young singers enjoys today a worldwide reputation. Awards such as the John Lennon International Music Award reflect the success of the choir. Beside performances such as in Alex Boyé's music video of Disneys "Let it Go" the kids also sung in the TV show America's Got Talent.

Watch the music video of "One Single Bell" and enjoy the harmony of the young voices.
