Akademisk Kor Århus is the first winner of the World Choral Cup

The Akademisk Kor Århus is the winner of the first-ever World Choral Cup, crowned at tonight’s Awards Ceremony in Calella. Congratulations!

After a high-level World Choral Cup competition after exciting days of singing and performing in Calella and Barcelona, the jury decided to award the singers from Denmark with this prestigious award, rewarding their outstanding skills on stage.

The competition for the World Choral Cup was the final competition of the best choirs, selected by the jurors and based on their achievement in the various competition categories.

The winner of the World Choral Cup, the Akademisk Kor Århus also got the highest score in the competition with 27,35 Points achieved in the Musica Sacra category.
