Registration deadline for International Choir Competition 2020 in Lucca

Vox Lucensis - Concorso Corale Internazionale

In the Middle Ages one of the most influential European cities, birthplace of Giacomo Puccini, sold, occupied, seized throughout its history by changing nations - and today one of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany: Lucca presents itself as an attractive host for the premiere of INTERKULTUR's international choir festival Vox Lucensis, which invites choirs from all parts of the world to the Italian city on the Serchio from April 4 - 8, 2020.

Until November 11, 2019, choirs can register for participation in ten different categories and intercultural Friendship Concerts. For the competitions and additional events, special stages will be available throughout the city: for example, the "Luigi Boccherini" Conservatory and the Church of San Paolino will open their doors to competitions in secular and sacred music as well as wonderful evening concerts. The Auditorium of San Romano and other important churches in the city are also available for a wide range of concerts.

More information about the event can be found here and on the event’s official Facebook page!
