
Hội An crowns this year’s top choirs
Results of the 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition
Five days of choral harmony, vibrant performances, and intercultural exchange have come to a close in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Hội An. The 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition has officially ended with the Grand Prize Competition for the Hội An Choir Prize – and this year’s winners have now been announced.
Over 20 choirs from 10 countries brought their musical talents to Vietnam, competing across diverse categories and celebrating the spirit of international choral friendship. From Sacred Music to Folklore and Spirituals, the event showcased the full beauty and diversity of the global choral community.
The Hội An Choir Prize 2025 was awarded to the Chorale senior du CEAO from Canada. Their outstanding performances earned them the highest recognition from the international jury and enthusiastic applause from the audience.
In total, the jury awarded 29 Gold, 12 Silver to the participating choirs. The Category Winners were:

Special Prizes were awarded to Samsung Electronics Harmony for the “most inspiring choral performance”, to Vivo Hanoi Sound for their ”outstanding staging with young children" and to Unity of Voices for the most “promising young conductor”.
