In spring 2022 a new musical opportunity opens up for individual singers, who love to travel, enjoy beautiful music and be part of an international singing project together with new and old friends from all over the world: WORLD FESTIVAL SINGERS – Back on stage with Javier Busto is a brand-new project designed for music lovers and singers in May 2022.
The renowned, award-winning Spanish composer and musician Javier Busto himself will take the artistic lead of this project and work with the participants on some of his own compositions. The singers will be supported by the professional “Cámara Calella” orchestra and a professional choir.
This new sing along project will take place twice between May 14-22, 2021. All information about travel dates, rehearsal schedule and the final concert performance is available on the official website.
Apart from the sing along project, participating singers have the chance to listen to and watch performances of international choirs that compete in the SING FOR GOLD choir competition for the first-ever World Choral Cup, which takes place at the same time in Calella and Barcelona. Further, the schedule for the participants leaves enough space to discover beautiful Catalonia, visit the exciting metropolis of Barcelona or the historical Montserrat Abbey and its world-famous boys’ choir “Escolania de Montserrat”.
