From July 3 - 7, 2019 a colorful festival with participating choirs from all over the world is waiting for you in Wernigerode, Germany.
What you can expect? A thrilling Grand Prize Competition, a joyful and colorful choir parade, 12 various competition categories, a Gala Concert with renowned ensembles and much more. And of course spectacular venues like the Halberstadt Cathedral and the Open Air Stage in front of Wernigerode’s historic town all add up to your extraordinary choral tour to the heart of Germany.
The last International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival & Competition was joined by 30 choirs from 14 nations and in 2019 the INTERKULTUR team is geared up to bring even more singers, more music and more performances to the “colorful city in the Harz region”. And also our jurors from Germany, Latvia and South Africa are looking forward to the results of your strenuous rehearsals on stage.
