World Choir Games 2018

It’s day seven of this year’s World Choir Games! The preparations for the second part are going on and more choirs are still arriving in Tshwane!

Your schedule leaves you some free time and you have no idea what to do? Try the Science Centre Sci-Enza on the Campus of the University of Pretoria. It is the oldest interactive Science Centre in Africa! Free to the general public and they are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 4pm. Further information at their website.

Its official! FIFA World Cup fever at the World Choir Village 2018 hosted at the Hellenic Community Centre. 37 Lynnwood Road, Hatfield. Today, 10 July, we will kick off with various performances by participating choirs from all over the world. This is followed by Nisha Nishantha Peiris at 18:00 and Martin van Staden at 19:00. The village is ready for choirs who are looking for great entertainment followed by live soccer on our massive 3,5 x 4 meter big screen. As always great food, drinks and snacks will be available at various gourmet street food stands and the arts and crafts market make for excellent shopping, including official merchandise. Entry is only R50, donated to charity. Come check out the vibe. We have ample seating and gas heaters to warm the chill.
