Guangzhou Opera House Children's Chorus
A talented young choir from China and its participation in the World Choir Games 2016
INTERKULTUR is pleased to introduce some choirs, which will attend the biggest choral event worldwide: The World Choir Games in Sochi 2016. The following choir comes from the country, in which the choral scene has increased in importance in the last years: China. A lot of Chinese choirs belong to the certain participants of many INTERKULTUR events. It's the first participation in one of our events for the Guangzhou Opera House Children's Chorus. We are all the more pleased to welcome the young singers in Sochi next year.
"Guangzhou Opera House Children's Chorus is the first professional performing group of Guangzhou Opera House, aiming at founding and training a performing group of itself, which includes chorus training and opera stage show. As the first domestic children's chorus that directly subordinates to the Opera House and a part of opera production's group in Guangzhou Opera House, Guangzhou Opera House Children's Chorus gathers outstanding youths of chorus. According to the operation of specialized performing group, it takes part in annual opera shows and other major performances, and even shares a stage with top masters in the world.
The daily training of Guangzhou Opera House Children's Chorus not only regards vocal exercises, but also pays attention to abilities of role performance and abilities of multi languages in opera, including Italian, French, German, English and Russian. Besides, the famous opera director and general inspector of Guangzhou Opera House Daniel Oren will personally guide the training of Guangzhou Opera House Children's Chorus with his international advanced team. In the meantime, with such a stage of national grade - Guangzhou Opera House, the children's chorus has the constant opportunities to communicate with international performing teams face to face."
