Catch the Early Birds in Magdeburg, Bohol and Grado

Musical fall with choral encounters in three countries

Would you like to end the year with choral music from the most diverse nations and exciting intercultural choral encounters? Then March 2, 2020 is THE date to secure Early Bird discounts for three different events:

It starts with the anniversary edition of the 10th Isola del Sole - International Choral Festival, which will take place from September 26-30, 2020 on the sunny island of Grado, Italy. At the last gathering, 22 choirs from 16 different nations took part. The Isola del Sole 2020 - Grand Prize, 9 various competition categories and outstanding venues such as the Basilica of Sant'Eufemia and the Basilica of Aquileia promise a special musical experience. Additional highlight: André van der Merwe's workshop "Finding your own voice & intonation". The conductor of the award-winning Stellenbosch University Choir will explore global choral sounds with the participants and show how to improve equal vocalization, resonance, balance and intonation.

As the former host city of the European Choir Games 2015 and birthplace of the Baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann, the Internationales Chorfest Magdeburg in Germany, is well prepared for a lively and inspiring celebration of choral music from October 7 - 11, 2020. 11 competition categories, Evaluation Performances, Individual Coachings, different levels of difficulty as well as opportunities for singing together and for further musical education leave nothing to be desired for the participating choirs.

And those who wish for an even more international experience, follow the call of choral music to the "Jewel of the Philippines" and thus to Sing'n'Joy Bohol in Tagbilaran City from October 7 - 11, 2020. The festival choir unites singers from all over the world in joint singing, the Grand Prize Competition offers its audiences top performances by outstanding choirs, and numerous Friendship Concerts invite you to get a taste of the variety of international choral sounds.
