INVITATION

You are cordially invited to join us in Koblenz in November! The German Choir Championships offer the German choir scene once again the opportunity to meet, to mingle and to enjoy the joint choral experience.

Günter Titsch, President INTERKULTUR | David Langner, Lord Mayor  City of Koblenz

Information on the current situation

Due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, choir rehearsals, concerts and performances were only possible in digital space during the last weeks and months. Since the beginning of June, contact restrictions have been lifted throughout Germany and in some federal states choirs are already allowed to sing together again under appropriate hygiene conditions.

The city of Koblenz, INTERKULTUR and the artistic directors are confident that the 1st German Choir Championships will take place in Koblenz in November. Considering the current situation, a comprehensive safety and hygiene concept is currently being drawn up to guarantee the health and well-being of all participants.

Important Updates (as of June 15, 2020)
  • We would like to accommodate choirs, which are not yet able to plan at the moment, and extend the registration period until September 5, 2020.
  • At the same time, in consideration of the current situation, we offer a free change and cancellation possibility up to 60 days before the event starts (September 5, 2020) in order to provide choirs with the highest possible planning security.
  • An earlier application will still be rewarded: With immediate effect we will refund the participation fee for all choir conductors who register by 29 June.
