This workshop will present top-class choral experts and take place in the week before the 12th International Johannes Brahms Choir Festival and Competition 2021 in the „colorful city in the Harz region“ Wernigerode, one of Germany’s most beautiful and inspiring small towns.
It is designed for international students, junior conductors, choir assistants and young professionals and represents an extension of INTERKULTUR‘s pedagogical offers.
Choir conducting, teaching and music students of the surrounding conservatories in Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Saxony and Hesse as well as interested choir singers and conductors from these states are explicitly being invited to participate in the seminar.
Active participants have the opportunity to study and rehearse international choral literature intensively with one of Germany’s most famous youth choirs, the Radio Youth Choir Wernigerode, and to present the results during a closing concert. A passive participation as a guest student is also possible.
