Singing in the city of a hundred spires

ON STAGE Prague welcomes international singers

ON STAGE

St. Vitus Cathedral, the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge – the landmarks of Prague will welcome singers from Portugal, Brazil and India to ON STAGE and the last INTERKULTUR event in 2018 from November 08-11. A warm welcome during frosty November days awaits the choirs during their first musical stopover, the Welcoming concert at “Czech Technical University” at 21:00. The choral journey continues the next day with a workshop about local choral music and tradition at the Prague Hlahol, held by Jan Míšek. This Czech conductor and composer is the founder and head of the much-awarded BONIFANTES Boys Choir and the Czech Soloist Ensemble Consort.

After intense rehearsals on November 10, the joint concert at the church Kostel sv. Šimona a Judy from 19:00 – 21:30 will gather all choirs to the event’s choral highlight. Afterwards the event’s social highlight, the joint dinner, unites the participants from different parts of the world on one table so different choral cultures and backgrounds will mingle and build bridges by the means of choral music.

More information about the event can be found at the event’s website or Facebook!
