Nicolas Fink and the Berlin Radio choir invite individual singers for a workshop

Grand Prix of Nations

On the occasion of the Grand Prix of Nations Berlin 2017 which unite choirs from all parts of the world from February 1-5, 2017 ambitious singers have the opportunity to attend a workshop of the Berlin Radio Choir and the Swiss conductor Nicolas Fink.

Together with the experts of the Berlin Radio choir approximately 120 individual singers will work on a workshop program dedicated to the works of the German composers Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (1839-1901) and Heinrich Schütz (1585-1672). Rheinberger belongs to the great music educators and significant representatives of the classic-romantic epoch. Schütz is one of the most important German composers of the early baroque period.

The results of the workshop will be presented in the course of the Closing Concert on February 4, 2017 in the Kammermusiksaal of Berlin Philharmonie together with the Berlin Radio Choir and under the direction of Nicolas Fink.

Interested singers can apply until June 27, 2016 stating their voice group and providing a CD or video recording (also Youtube) by e-mail.
