The World Choir Games in 3 countries on 3 continents

Plan ahead and go on a world trip together

World Choir Games 2024

What a prospect: The venues for the next three World Choir Games from 2021-2024 have already been decided! Three countries on three continents want to warmly welcome the choirs of the world to their homeland and those who start planning now can be part of this "singing world tour".

From July 2-12, 2021, the world of choirs will finally meet in the Belgian region of Flanders. For many, this will be the first opportunity to be back on a big stage since the outbreak of the worldwide Covid 19 pandemic  ̶  of course in a "new normal" and with enough distance, but singing together! For detailed information, please visit www.wcg2021.com.

The world tour continues with the "Korean Peace Games of Choral Music" in Gangneung, South Korea, from July 4-14, 2022. In 2018 the region was it was the venue of the Winter Olympics, which went down in history as the "Peace Games" due to the joint appearance of North and South Korean athletes. The unifying power of choral music becomes even more significant as an international symbol of peace at such a place.
Gangneung is known for its breathtaking location by the sea in front of fantastic mountain scenery. The Olympic Park and the Ice Arena were also venues for the 2018 Winter Olympics and are centrally located in the city. A unique opportunity to breathe real Olympic air here during the World Choir Games 2022!
Check www.wcg2022.com for all the details about your participation and registration.

In July 2024 we will finally go “down under”: New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland, invites choirs from all over to its “Games of WELCOME”. Hallmark of these 13th World Choir Games is New Zealand’s spirit of manaakitanga, its warm welcome and hospitality. New Zealand is a singing nation, with a thriving choir culture in every town and city. Especially in Auckland, the country’s musical traditions reflect the rich diversity of its multicultural population. Join in for an unforgettable cultural experience! In the spirit of manaakitanga you will be made to feel part of the New Zealand whānau – its family! You can find more information at www.wcg2024.com.

After the World Choir Games is before the World Choir Games: let the planning begin and join us on an extraordinary world tour with the Olympic Games of Choral Music!
