Numerous of choirs from all parts of the world have already registered for the World Choir Games 2016, amongst others "The Chapel of Boys and Young Men" from Yekaterinburg, Russia.

"The Chapel of Boys and Young Men" was founded in 1979 in Yekaterinburg. It is the one of the first and oldest musical ensembles of the Children's Philharmonic Swerdlowsk.

The musical education of the choir follows the tradition of the Russian choral singing schools, which is known to attach a lot of importance on the original performances of the works, on an extensive sound as well as on the artistic perfection of each voice.

The repertoire of the concert choir consists of the compositions by Russian and foreign composers, classical sacred music, folk songs and popular compositions of Soviet authors.

The choir gathered a lot of stage experiences during international competitions and festivals, including in Italy, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, the Netherlands, Greece, Chile, Russia and the Ukraine. During the 8th World Choir Games 2014 in Riga, Latvia, the choir achieved Olympic Gold. The choir not only won a Golden medal in the category "Mixed Boys' Choirs", but was also awarded the title of Champion of the World Choir Games. During the Closing Concert, in which the most successful choirs of the World Choir Games presented their skills once again, the "Chapel of Boys and Young Men" performed together with choirs from Latvia, South Africa and China.
