"We have had such a great time in the Vox Lucensis competition and festival and really would recommend the experience to other choirs. Thanks so much again for everything!"
4th Vox Lucensis
Experience music and culture in the heart of Tuscany
Lucca, a place with a long history of art and music, is even today an inspiring city in the heart of Tuscany, which has born artists such as Giacomo Puccini, Luigi Boccherini, Alfredo Catalani and also Francesco Geminiani.
Against the backdrop of Lucca's picturesque landscapes, from its historic churches to enchanting public squares, choirs will perform, turning the city itself into a grand, living stage already for the fourth time in spring 2025.
The highly prestigious Conservatory "Luigi Boccherini" and the Church San Pietro Somaldi offer perfect conditions for competitions in secular and sacred music categories and for top-class evening concerts. The Auditorium of San Romano and famous churches throughout the city also open their doors for a variety of choral concerts.
Come to Lucca and experience the unique culture and attractiveness of Tuscany: the city is even a perfect starting point for trips to Florence, Pisa or Siena!

Destination
Lovely Lucca endears itself to everyone who visits. Hidden behind imposing Renaissance walls, its cobbled streets, handsome piazzas and shady promenades make it a perfect destination to explore by foot – and very easy to reach also from the nearby cities of Montecatini Terme, Pisa and Florence. At the day's end, historic cafes and restaurants tempt visitors to relax over a glass or two of Lucchesi wine and a slow progression of rustic dishes prepared with fresh produce from nearby Garfagnana.
