In this region all the distances are short. Close to everything and easy to get here. That’s the right way to describe Helsingborg. We are located conveniently close to the highways toStockholm and Gothenburg and the train, ferry and bus connections are good. We also have three airports within an hour’s travel from theregion: Ängelholm-Helsingborg Airport, Malmö Airport and Copenhagen Airport. Copenhagen is only an hour away from Helsingborg.

General information
If you travel to Helsingborg by train, bus or ferry, you will arrive at the junction "Knutpunkte". Then you can travel by taxi, local bus or regional bus. Please note that you cannot pay cash for tickets on the bus. Tickets are available from the ticket machine or Skånetrafiken Customer Centre. In regional buses you can also pay by credit card for an extra charge. The Customer Centre will be glad to give you more information. There you can buy tickets and discount cards.

By Air
There are three airports in this region: Ängelholm-Helsingborg Airport, Malmö Airport and only 20 minutes away from Malmö over the Öresund Bridge you also have Copenhagen Airport.

By Ferry
You can also reach our region by ferry from Denmark. Ferries 3-4 times an hour between Helsingborg and Elsinore in Denmark, and the journey takes about 20 minutes.

By train
Travelling by train in the region is both quick and convenient. SJ is the largest swedish train operator and operates on most long-haul routes from Oslo, Copenhagen and Berlin as well as in Sweden. With the fast X2000 train from Stockholm the trip takes about five hours to Helsingborg. The train from Gothenburg to Helsingborg takes about 2 hours. The regional train company Skånetrafiken operates between Copenhagen and Helsingborg.

Rent a car
If you want to rent a car, several of the well known rental companies are represented in our region. Many gas stations also have car rental.
