Geseënde Kersfees – christmassy greetings from Africa
INTERKULTUR brings December to sound
Also in many parts of Africa Christmas belongs to the traditions of the country. Therefore INTERKULTUR wants to present a popular Christmas carol from Africa today: Sing Noel.
The Christmas Carol achieved his typical African sound by the use of drums and rattles. Furthermore the vocal repetitions, for example of the phrase “Sing Noel”, are typically for African singing.
Geseënde Kersfees (South African) – or in English: Merry Christmas!
